West Islip Library participates in the 2007 Suffolk County battle of the books

On Saturday, August 18, teens from the West Islip Public Library joined with 32 other public library teams in the Tenth Annual Suffolk County Battle of the Books, held at the Hilton Long Island Hotel. Team members read 12 young adult books throughout the summer and then compete with other library teams to answer questions on the books. This year's team members were Kayla Hunter, Kathleen Calves and Peter Calves lead by Young Adult Librarian Nell Brosnan.
