West Babylon hosts National Literacy Author and Consultant Professional Development event

The West Babylon School District recently hosted a staff development program featuring acclaimed literacy author and consultant Laura Robb. Robb highlighted portions of her recent publication, Teaching Reading to the crowd of more than 250 educators from 50 school districts and organizations across Nassau and Suffolk Counties. The Laura Robb Professional Development event for Long Island's educators was sponsored for the second time by Vincent Albanese of Scholastic, Inc. It was held in West Babylon Senior High School's Performing Arts Center. Pam Stamp, an educational consultant from Scholastic, addressed the crowd prior to Robb's presentation - Differentiating Instruction.
