BBS Country Fair this Sunday, September 9th
The 34th annual Country Fair will be held at Argyle Park, Babylon Village on Sunday, September 9, noon to 5 p.m. The rain date is September 16.
Back in 1973, when Isabel Gallagher and other Babylon Beautification Society members decided to hold a country fair to raise money to beautify Babylon, they had no idea it would become so large, so popular and so long-lasting. Sunday's fair has almost 300 craft vendors, continuous entertainment on the gazebo, kiddie rides and games, a food court and local flowers and vegetables for sale.
Volunteers are needed to help line vendor spaces the day before the fair. Call Darrell Conway at 631-669-0001 for information.
