Supervisor Nolan honors Islip students

Islip Town Supervisor Phil Nolan, shown, back row, right, honored students at Islip's Commack Road Elementary School Flag Day Ceremony. The students who received certificates from the Supervisor for their award-winning Flag Day essays were: front, left to right, second grade contest winner Diamani Bermudez, third grade winner Steven Walis, fourth grade winner Dominick Cangialosi and fifth grade winner Lauren Sparks. Also present at the outdoor event were, back row, are Commack Road Elementary School principal Mrs. Feminella and American Legion Post #411 representative Dave Palmer.
