St. Joseph's Babylon CYO track team poses with trophies

Members of St. Joseph's Babylon CYO track team pose with trophies won in the Ron Brown Memorial 400-meter and the Andy Towey Memorial 800-meter competitions held at the St. Boniface Spring Classic track meet in Floral Park on June 9.

Team members, shown, left to right, top row, are John Quartararo, second place, boys' eightgrade 400m and Matt McLean, third place, boys' seventh-grade 800m. In the middle row are Jessica Boden, first place, girls' eighthgrade 400m; Liz Sutton, second place, girls' eighth-grade 800m and Jessica Scheriff, first place, girls' fifth-grade 800m. Seated are Clare McCaffrey, first place, girls' fourthgrade 400m and Jordan Lang, first place, boys' fourth-grade 800m, as well as second place, boys' fourth-grade 400m.

Two other team members, missing from the photo, also trophied. They are David Lipsky, first place, boys' sixth-grade 800m and Michael

Goldin, third place, boys' fifth-grade 800m.

St. Joseph's CYO track is coached by Jess Prochilo and Fred Bertino. The team coordinator is Kathy Hoffman.
