WBHS holds Varsity Sports Awards Dinner

West Babylon High School's Varsity Sports Awards Dinner was held on June 24 at the LaGrange Inn. Among the many fine athletes that were recipients of various honors that evening, several special awards were bestowed upon students who demonstrated an exceptional level of skill and dedication.

This year the Superintendent Trophy Winners were Eric Baranack and Erin Boyle. Additionally, the Helmer Petersen Baseball Award was given to Michael Valela, the Donald F. Bolinger Memorial Track Award went to William Gabrell, and Adam Kicas was the recipient of the George Kruse Memorial Lacrosse Award.
