Lindenhurst SEPTA Awards give special honors to over 75 students

Over seventyfive students were given special honor at the annual SEPTA Awards Night on May 21 at Lindenhurst Middle School. SEPTA President, Peggy Harnisch and Assistant to the Superintendent for Special Education Joseph LaMelza, welcomed administrators, staff, parents, and students.

Superintendent Neil Lederer was the recipient of the SEPTA Lifetime Membership Award for his continuous support of the special education program within the district. Under Mr. Lederer's leadership, the district has implemented many new programs and is a strong advocate for all children to reach their fullest potential.
