Pet owner appreciates Levy law on dog park

Dear Editor:

S. C. Leg. Steve Levy's work to put into a bill for dog parks is a very much appreciated effort. I have been a Suffolk resident for 19 years now and just love it here. My dog Taylor is one of the most important things in my life, and I like to have him with me as much as possible.

W e have been going to Gardiners Park for a few years now, and it is a small piece of heaven for both of us. We have met many people, and dogs of course, and it is a little society of its own. We share the park well with joggers, families with children and elderly people, and Taylor and I have gotten to know many of them. I am a nurse and a firm believer in the idea of animals improving quality of life, especially for children and elderly people. This park demonstates that well. I hope he keeps up the good work.
