Congress continues to sell out American citizens

Many of the Americans who oppose what is happening in Washington with regard to illegal immigration enjoyed a major success last month when the immigration reform bill collapsed under the pressure of law-abiding Americans who made it known in no uncertain terms that they would not stand for amnesty and subsidizing the lifestyles of those who sneak into this country illegally.

It has now become obvious that the lawmakers who continue to pander to this criminal element in our society for their own political interests will continue to try and shove these policies down the throats of legal citizens- one at a time.

The first indication of that came last week when House Democrats voted to give illegal immigrants welfare benefits under a federal agricultural bill. It is another handout that will act as a tantalizing financial incentive to those who want to come here and have no compunction to obey our laws or integrate into our lawful society.

The audacity of these lawmakers is astounding. Citizens must write and call their representatives and make it clear to them that they either bend to the will of those who put them into office, or be kicked out on their arrogant butts. And we better hurry before illegal immigrants are given the right to vote.
