Babylon Village Town houses a “sound” investment

Dear Editor:

The good news for those who might buy one of the proposed luxury town houses on Park Avenue is that they won't be bombarded with loud LIRR public address announcements that provide useful information during the frequent service delays.

The bad news is that they will be bombarded with very loud, canned and useless announcements regarding "baggage and other large container searches by the police" and "to watch the gap."

I hope the condos have a lot of sound proofing.
