Correction:
A front page story in last week's edition, Embattled WISD health teacher's tenure to come before school board again in August, may have given readers the impression that the school board has made a decision to approve teacher tenure for Nicole Perperis. In fact, the school board has not made a decision about when, and if, it will consider that move. In addition, the district is still conducting an investigation into the allegations made against her, according to district spokeswoman Nancy Lenz. The article indicated that the investigation was completed.
