Alleghany School in Lindenhurst holds plant sale

Lindenhurst's Alleghany Avenue Elementary School held its annual plant sale the week before Mother's Day. The sale offered many choices of geraniums, marigolds, impatiens, petunias, and begonias in every color of the rainbow.

"The kids love picking out flowers and plants for their moms," said Dianne Meyers, co-chair of the sale. "We get an excellent quality and the price is reasonable."
