Bud Harrelson throws first pitch at Ducks game
Suffolk County Legislator Tom Barraga (R, West Islip) joined Bud Harrelson of the Long island Ducks and Mike Mc Elwee, owner of the Nutty Irishman, to throw out the first ball to start a recent game. Harrelson is the only man to be in uniform for both of the Mets World Series Championships-playing shortstop in 1969 and coaching third base in 1996. Harrelson played catcher to Barraga's pitch, which luckily was straight down the middle.
