On Friday, June 1, the West Islip Public Library and the Public Library Directors Association of Suffolk County honored New York State Senator Owen H. Johnson for his support of Suffolk County's public libraries.
Senator Johnson has been instrumental in promoting and supporting library improvement projects around New York State as well as in his home district on Long Island.
