Babylon Elementary School second graders have been pen-paling

Second graders in Beth Dieterich's class at Babylon Elementary School have been penpaling with fourth graders in Kelly Arcoleo's class at the Memorial Grade School to exchange ideas and discuss books. The younger students enjoy being mentored by the older ones and often ask questions about the Grade School, where they will be attending classes next year. "Hopefully, this makes their transition a little easier," says Dieterich.
