Former Babylon resident is recognized

A former Babylon Village resident Victor Weinstein, a Babylon High School graduate and now a physician practicing in Charleston, was recognized for his professionalism and compassion in the Charleston Post and Courier recently. In a letter to the editor, Liza Buzelli said that Dr. Weinstein, though not the physician on record for her recent surgery, offered a second opinion on her condtion and cleared the way for a speedy process so that she would not have to "wait and worry unnecessarily. He extended me exceptional medical professionalism and human kindness for no other reason than to put my mind at ease," she said.

Dr.Weinstein's father continues to live in Babylon and is a former longtime clam digger on the Great South Bay.
