Local resdient ordained priest on June 9

Babylon resident and former Our Lady of Perpetual Help Youth (OLPH) Minister Joe Fitzgerald, shown below, was ordained a priest on June 9. Father Joe recently returned to OLPH in Lindenhurst to cocelebrate the 6 p.m. Life Teen Mass along with Monsignor Daniel Hamilton, shown right, and Father James Stachacz. The Knights of Columbus hosted the reception that followed the mass. Father Joe will be on his first assignment to St. Killian's Parish in Farmingdale.
