South Bay students bring springtime to patients
Students in every class worked on this worthwhile project, which was initiated with the help of Joanne Hammel, volunteer services program coordinator at Good Samaritan and parent of South Bay fifth grader, Kelsey. Hammel will deliver the students' paintings to Good Samaritan, where they will be displayed throughout the hospital to bring a little springtime cheer to those who are unable to get outdoors. The students are looking forward to working with Hammel on future projects to benefit patients at Good Samaritan Hospital.
Shown in the photo are Joanne Hammel, Melinda Fischer, Kelsey Hammel, back row, far left, and some of the many South Bay students who participated in this endeavor.
