Our Lady Of Lourdes invites all to Evening Prayers through summer

The Parish Family of Our Lady of Lourdes in West Islip, invites all to come and spend the summer with them Monday nights, 7:30 p.m. Beginning Monday, July 9 through Monday, August 20, Evenings of Prayer will include great speakers, activities of families of all shapes and sizes and much more. Speakers already signed up include Msgr. James Vlaun, president and CEO of Telecare; Michael Chiappone, social Worker, Hope House Ministries; Fr. Joseph DeGrocco, host of Telecare's Divine Intervention; Barbara Walsh, assistant principal at St. John the Baptist Diocesan High School; Sister Mary Alice Piil, director of the Office of Faith Formation for the Diocese of Rockville Centre and Christian Sullivan, campus minister at St. Francis Prep High School in Queens. Each presenter has an inspiring message to share for each and every one of us to hear.

The prayer services take place on the Great Lawn at Our Lady of Lourdes, so bring your beach blanket or beach chair and be sure to bring a friend. In the event of excessive heat or rain, Evening Prayer will take place in the All Purpose Room.
