Transportation Department funds anti-bullying program

Through the generosity of Suffolk Transportation, at no cost to the school district, the Bay Shore, kindergarten through grade five students will participate in an antibullying campaign based on the award-winning book, Bully Frog. Becoming proactive about caring, acting responsibly and being inclusive will be taught and reinforced through this special curriculum-based program.

Shown with Brook Avenue School kindergartners are Principal Regina Vorwald, Bully Frog Representative Evy Rothman, safety trainers Debra Rayzak and Hilma Hammer on either side of Bay Shore Schools Director of Transportation Rich Gallagher and Suffolk Transportation Van Director and Supervisor Paula Malarky and Stacey Popkin.
