Good Samaritan Junior Volunteer Program welcomes triplets

Triplets Elizabeth, Christine and Alex Harvey of Brightwaters recently joined Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center's Junior Volunteer Program. The 16-year-old sisters attend St. John's High School in West Islip.

Students between the ages of 14 and 18 can become Junior Volunteers. In 2006, the Medical Center had more than 170 junior volunteers who contributed more than 5,200 hours. They come from 17 different school districts surrounding Good Samaritan. The program helps high school students meet their requirements for community service activi- ties as students participate in several hospital events and assist in departments throughout the Medical Center.
