Islip Town holds Student Achievement Awards Night
Islip Town recently held its Student Achievement Awards Night at Town Hall honoring students within the township for their achievements in academics, athletics, leadership and community service. Among those honored were four students from Bayview Elementary School: Jamie Misegades for his talents in the performing arts category, Eric Harris for outstanding potential in science, Matthew Tonn for maintaining a high overall grade point average in math, and Richard Zec for athletics, team spirit and sportsmanship.
