Assemblyman Bob Sweeney (11th AD) and members of the Lindenhurst Memorial Library Board of Trustees were participants in the Memorial Day Parade held on May 28 in Lindenhurst. The library was built in 1952 to honor those men and women who served in the armed forces during World War II. In 1968, the library moved to a new building and now serves as a living memorial to all those who gave their lives in service to the nation.
