Babylon Public Library receives grant

Director Marina Sullivan announced that, thanks to the efforts of Senator Owen H. Johnson, the Babylon Public Library will receive a $50,000 grant from New York State. This money will be used to upgrade the library's computer servers, public computers, broadband width and wireless capabilities.

On Thursday, May 24, Senator Johnson presented the library with a replica check to secure these computer upgrades and representatives from the Library's Board of Trustees along with Director Sullivan were on hand to thank him for his efforts on the Library's behalf.
