Order of the Eastern Star to host Chinese auction and antique appraisal

The Order of the Eastern Star will host its fourth annual Chinese auction, Friday, July 13, 7:30 p.m. at the Amityville Masonic Lodge, 14 Avon Pl., Amityville. The doors open 6 p.m. Free dessert and coffee or tea will be served and hot dogs will be sold. Admission and one sheet of numbers is $7.

On Tuesday, July 17, an Antique Appraisal Fair will be held from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Babylon Masonic Lodge located at 250 W. Main St., Babylon.

Bonham Auctioneers of New York and around the world, will offer verbal auction value appraisals on all your treasures, big and small. Bring pictures of large items. No stamps, coins, musical instruments, dolls or toys. The doors open 10:45 a.m. Water and snacks will be sold. Admission is $20 for appraisal of one item and $10 for each additional item, up to five items. General admission with no appraisal is $5.
