Babylon Masonic Historical Society visits residents of the Berkshire Nursing Center monthly

Shown in the photo are Howard Austin of the Babylon Masonic Historical Society; Roberta Young, activities director of Berkshire Nursing Center and Peter Becker, resident of Berkshire Nursing Center.
Members of the Babylon Masonic Historical Society visit with residents of the Berkshire Nursing Center each month. They also assist the Rev. Juanita Hilsenbeck , wife of Past Master Walter Hilsenbeck, with religious services. Each month they have a special program with music and games and residents win prizes. Peter Becker loves these programs. In honor of his 90th birthday, he was given a citation from the Babylon Masonic Historical Society, flowers and a big teddy bear. He loves to wear ties, sing and is an avid photographer. The Masons have been working with Rev. Juanita for 10 years. She has volunteered since 1969. She is pastor of the Half Hollows Community Church in Dix Hills.
