Babylon Village resident named scholar athlete
Babylon Village resident Ryan O'Connor was named to the 2007 New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association Scholar-Athlete team. The Scholar- Athlete team honors graduating seniors from schools in the NEILAwho have earned over a 3.0 grade point average and have excelled on the field.
A defenseman and captain
on the Dartmouth men's lacrosse team, O'Connor started all 15 games for the Big Green. He scored a goal in the Yale game and has an assist against Virginia and two in the 16-10 victory over Holy Cross. O'Connor, an economics major at Dartmouth, is a 2003 graduate of Chaminade High School.
