West Islip Brainstormers congratulated by Legislator Barraga
Recently, the Brainstormers, a West Islip High School team consisting of college-bound seniors, was congratulated by Suffolk County Legislator Thomas F. Barraga (R, West Islip). The students beat North Shore High School during "The Challenge," a half-hour high school quiz program, to win the Long Island Championship. In the semi- finals, the students also defeated the Connecticut champion, Westhill.
