Shown with Assemblyman Sweeney is Aaron Virgin, director of the Sanctuary. Recently, Suffolk County Legislator Thomas F. Barraga (R, West Islip) participated in the ninth annual Elizabeth T. McNamee Memorial Fun Run/ Walk held in West Islip. Proceeds from the event will be used to increase awareness and educate others about hypertrophic cardiomyopathy - the number one cause of sudden cardiac death among America's youth.
