Lindenhurst High School's Evening of Dance

An "Evening of Dance" filled the Lindenhurst High School auditorium featuring dancers with colorful costumes and diversified background music, led by Lindenhurst Dance Ensemble Director Kristine Viola.

The Lindenhurst dance program was founded 3 years ago. Dancers practice daily a wide variety of techniques and dance genres. Students are encouraged to explore their feelings through their own original works of choreography. This past year, Viola and her students attended the annual Dance Conference at C.W. Post and had the opportunity to perform at the Tilles Center for Performing Arts.

"This year's group is truly special," explained Ms. Viola. "Their diverse experience and genuine passion for dance are refreshing."
