On Saturday, March 3, the PTA Council and the Lindenhurst Board of Education sponsored a Legislator's Breakfast at the Lindenhurst High School Library. Attended by over 75 people, the audience was given the opportunity to socialize, ask questions, and meet and greet local politicians and town council members, while enjoying a delicious breakfast.
Opening greetings and introductions were given by Rose Mourdoukoutas, PTA Council President, Ed Langone, Board of Education Board Member, and Neil Lederer, Superintendent of Lindenhurst School District. Followed by an informative question and answer session, people were given the opportunity to educate themselves on various issues of local government and state aid that affects the district schools.
