Mary Francis, formerly of Lindenhurst and Amityville Devoted mother and grandmother Mary Francis died following a long illness April 29, 2007. She was surrounded by her family and was 75 years old. Born in New York City, she raised her family in Lindenhurst and Copiague before moving to Florida about ten years ago. Mrs. Francis leaves behind her children: Ann, Mary Ellen and her husband Steve, Donna, Jimmy and his wife Ellen; her grandchildren (who called her Nanny): Jennifer and her husband Christopher, Tara, Nicole, Candace, Jared, Brittany, Tyler and Ryan; her great grandchildren: Alyssa, Vanessa and Peyton; her siblings: Louis, Vincent, Salvatore, Lillian, Carmela and Angelina. She was predeceased by her sister, Antoinette.
She reposed at Moloney's Lake Funeral Home, 132 Ronkonkoma Ave., Lake Ronkonkoma on May 3, 2007. A Funeral Mass was said May 4, 2007 at St. Philip Neri R.C. Church in Northport, followed by interment in Northport Rural Cemetery, Northport.
