Marjorie Stecher: Born and raised in Babylon Marjorie Stecher (nee St. Armand), who was born and raised in Babylon, died April 26, 2007 at her home in Mahtomedi, Minnesota. She was 92 years old. A Babylon High School and Albany State Teacher's College graduate, for many years she worked as an assistant in a New York City ophthalmologist's office. According to her sister, Alma, she spent most of her adult life living in Glen Falls, New York with her husband, Julius, also from Babylon. She was a longtime member of the Christ Church United Methodist in Glen Falls, New York. Mrs. Stecher leaves behind her sister, Alma Limbach of White Bear Lake, Minnesota and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Julius G.; her parents: Dr. and Mrs. A.C. St. Armand; sister, Jeanne Farrington, Antoinette Kehoe and Lorraine Brubaker. A private memorial was held in Minnesota under the direction of Regan & Denny Funeral Home, 53 Quaker Road, Queensbury, New York.
