Dahlia Society exhibition to be held June 21

The Long Island Dahlia Society will hold a sale of exhibition grade dahlia plants, Thursday, June 21, 7:30 p.m. in the Carriage House at Bayard Cutting Arboretum in East Islip and a dahlia basics class at 7 p.m. In addition, at 8 p.m. Joe Broyles of Plant Health Care will hold a a lecture on organic alternative gardening. All are welcome and the admission is free.

To reach the Arboretum take the Southern State Parkway to exit 45 east, straight off the ramp and travel east on Main Street (Montauk Highway). The Arboretum is on the righ, less than one half mile ahead.
