Second annual 5K walk for KC Jones to be held June 10 On Sunday, June 10, the Second annual 5K Walk for KC will be held at Babylon High School track, North Carll Avenue, Babylon. Registration or the event starts at 10 a.m. and the walk begins at 11 a.m. Early registration is available at The Babylon Bean and Mr. Cue Billiards. KC Jones was a longtime resident of Babylon Village and proprietor of Mr. Cue Billiards. On September 21, 2005, after a very short, hardfought battle, Jones succumbed to lung cancer. Raffles and 50/50 will be sold at the event. Winners need not be present for raffle prizes. Proceeds go to American Cancer Society Lung Cancer Research.
