They're engaged!!!
Tricia and Chuck Howlett of West Islip announce the engagement of their son, Second Lieutenant Patrick Charles Howlett to First Class Cadet Jennifer Lynne Lewis of Sandusky, Ohio. Lt. Howlett, who graduated from West Islip High School, is an honors graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point. He is presently stationed with the First Armored Division, Ft. Riley, Kansas, where he serves as a Tank Platoon Commander. The bride-to-be is the daughter of Peggy and Jim Lewis of Sandusky and a graduate of Perkins High. She is scheduled to graduate from West Point this May where she is majoring in engineering and is a member of the Academy's karate team. She will begin her training as a helicopter pilot at Ft. Rucker, Alabama in August of 2006. The wedding will take place on June in Sandusky with the Reverend Patrick Bonner, Molloy College Chaplain officiating.
