Art Exhibit to be held

The Long Island Chapter of the Sumi-E Society will be holding its tenth annual Oriental Art Exhibit, The Fragrance of Ink, Saturdays and Sundays, from June 2 to July 1, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Bayard- Cutting Arboretum, Montauk Highway, Oakdale. The month-long exhibit of Asian brush painting. Artwork including ink and watercolor are produced on rice paper using traditional techniques as well as contemporary materials. Subject matter varies from traditional landscapes and florals to more contemporary works and abstracts.
