Babylon High School Varsity winter sports awards Babylon Junior/Senior High School announced its winter sports standing for 2006/2007. The varsity boys basketball team was League VII, third and Section XI, second. They won the Scholar Athlete Team Award. Named for All League were James Pate and Beau Bachety. Tim Hild was named Academic All League and James Pate was named All Conference. The varsity girls' basketball team was League VII, seventh. The team received the Scholar Athlete Team Award. Named All League were Rebecca Rubin, Laura Mayo and Caitlin Sweetapple. Acknowledged as All County Academic were Rebecca Rubin, Stephanie Ochs, Lauren Nugent and Ryann Murray. The bowling team was League IV, sixth place. Named All League was Shaun Riley. Varsity wrestling was Section XI, fourth place. The team received the Scholar Athlete Team Award. Named All County were Matt Griffo, first; Sean Melow, first; Frank Deesing, fourth and Cesar Rodriguez, fourth. The girls' varsity track team received the Scholar Athlete Team Award. Named All League was Jen Perez.
The varsity boys' winter track team received the Scholar Athlete Team Award.
