Lindenhurst High School student wins Citibank-News 12 Long Island Scholar Athlete Award

Lindenhurst High School's Maggie Cronin won the Citibank-News 12 Long Island Scholar Athlete Award. Maggie was presented this award for her all-around achievements in scholarship, athletics, leadership, and school service.

"I really expect a lot from myself," exclaimed Cronin during the News 12 interview. "I demand perfection." Not only does Cronin do well in the classroom, but she is the Bulldog goalie for the field hockey team and starting pitcher for the softball team. She also represented Lindenhurst High School at the Long Island Challenge.
