Students sorry to see foreign language program being eliminated in Babylon School District

Dear Editor:

We are mad and disappointed. We can't believe the Spanish and computer classes are canceled. Senora White and Senora Shaw are very loving and great teachers. They make learning Spanish fun and interesting. They would make learning fun by playing games that classes all loved and that helped learn that language.

Mrs. Sockolowski is everyone's friend. She is funny, loving, caring and an amazing computer teacher. We have so much fun doing projects on the computer and learn how to properly use the computer. She cares about how quickly and accurately we type, this will help us in the future.

Not only will we miss them all but it will hurt our education. We will not be learning Spanish and how to use the computers by the computer teacher.

All kindergarten through second grade children will miss learning how to properly use the computers when they begin the third grade at the Village Grade School. They will also miss how great Senora White and Mrs. Sockolowki are.

In conclusion, we believe that we should keep Spanish and computer class, for our learning and so Mrs. Sockolowski, Senora Shaw and Senora White will keep their jobs in Babylon and continue teaching in our community.
