Babylon Junior - Senior High provides dinner and a show for seniors

Local senior citizens were invited into Babylon Junior Senior High School to enjoy dinner and a show, courtesy of the student members of the Leo Club. Dinner was an Italian meal with food being provided by the following eateries: Francesco's Pizzeria, Villa Rosa, Gino's Pizzeria, The Greek Garden, Babylon Fish & Clam, and the Continental Diner. Those in attendance were quick to praise the meal, with many asking for refills. Leo Club advisor is teacher Melissa Llewellyn.

Shown are students serving the dinners and visiting with guests, which included Babylon employee Connie Taffuri, left, and Mr. and Mrs. Gene Proto, right, graduates of Babylon High School, as are their children. "We love this school district and community," said Gerry Proto.

The show was the dress rehearsal of The Matchmaker, directed by drama coach and English teacher Lisa Drance.
