Anne McPartland: registered nurse from Babylon Longtime Babylon resident and registered nurse at the Northport veteran's hospital Anne F. McPartland died December 26, 2006. She was 72-years-old. Born on July 29, 1934 in Woodhaven, Queens, she moved to Babylon in 1968 and lived there for 38 years. Until her retirement about ten years ago, she worked in the Northport V.A. Hospital as a Registered Nurse. According to her daughter, Fran DellaSperanzo of West Babylon, she was an avid reader who loved to spend time with her family. In addition to her daughter, Mrs. McPartland leaves behind her other children: Robert of North Carolina and Rachel McPartland Scott of Connecticut; her grandchildren: Michael, Sean, Robert Tyler and Andrew; and her brother, John Steproe.
A Funeral Mass was said December 29, 2006 at St. Joseph's R.C. Church, Babylon. Interment followed at St. Joseph's Cemetery, Babylon. Arrangements were entrusted to the Claude R. Boyd Spencer Funeral Home, 448 West Main St., Babylon Village.
