Carriage House studio tours to be given April 26 and May 6

The public is invited to tour the studios of winter residents at the Carriage House on Sundays, April 29 and May 6 and 13, 2 to 4 p.m. This is an opportunity to see work in progress by Alice Hope and Maureen McQuillan, who have been in residence at the Carriage House since January, 2007.

A docent tour of the studios will take place on April 26, 3 p.m., followed by an informal tea and discussions. Reservations are needed for this event and may be obtained by calling the Islip Art Museum at 631-224- 5402.

Administered by the Islip Art Museum, the Carriage House is Long Island's center for experimental art. The facility is located at the Brookwood hall complex, 50 Irish Lane, East Islip.
