The trip takes place on Saturday, May 5, when Parks and Recreation will travel, via deluxe motorcoach, to Pennsylvania. The fee for this trip is $32, for residents; and $36, for non-resident. Trip participants will sample strawberries - from fresh, to dipped in chocolate, to strawberry shortcake. There will also be entertainment and demonstrations on the green, specialty stores and outdoor vendors. Lunch is on your own at one of the nine restaurants or at the free-standing vendors. There will also be a visit to the New Hope Winery, with a wine tasting. Please wear comfortable shoes, as this trip is not recommended for anyone who has trouble walking.
