Audubon society to hold fundraiser

The Great South Bay Audubon Society will hold its annual fundraiser dinner Monday, May 7 at Captain Bill's Restaurant in Bay Shore. There will be door prizes, raffles and several auctions,some offering original art work. The speaker will be Robert De Candido, PhD who will present a lively program, The Night Migration of Birds at the Empire State Building, with photographs by Deborah Allen. The gala will start at 6 p.m. with a cocktail hour to be followed by dinner and other activities at 7 p.m. This is a great chance to meet with other nature and conservation minded people.
