Babylon Village should provide for community input at meetings

Dear Editor:

On March 27 I attended a Babylon Village board meeting in order to support our Sanitation Department. Over the years I have attended the board meetings of four administrations and have never witnessed what occurred that night.

The entire meeting, which took approximately 12 minutes, was completely inaudible to the audience and when I questioned this, I was told "These are not microphones, they are recorders. Meeting adjourned."

If this arrogant manner is the way all the board meetings are held then it surely would be wise if the residents attended these meetings and then we might not have five "robots" passing choreographed resolutions.
