Memorial set for Doretta Fredenberg, Ô75 MHS graduate A memorial mass will be held April 14, 2007 for former Massapequa Park native Doretta (Berton) Fredenberg who died February 20, 2007 at her home in California of gastric cancer. She was 49 years old and had grown up on Frances Lane with her sisters. Born and raised in Massapequa Park, she graduated from Massapequa High School in 1975 and went on to work in graphic design. After she married, she moved to Ohio and later to Highland, California where she managed properties for Satellite Management Corp. According to her sister, Dolores, she led a faithful, happy life and loved to be with her friends and family. Mrs. Fredenberg leaves behind her son, Anthony Edward of Highland, California; her sisters: Deborah Moran and her husband Patrick of Copiague, Denise McCartan and her husband Michael of Amity Harbor and Dolores Montross and her husband Ken of Babylon; many nieces and nephews; as well as other loved ones and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, Dorothy and Bernard Berton. The memorial mass will be held 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 14, 2007 at St. Joseph's Church of Babylon, 39 North Carll Avenue, Babylon Village, NY. A funeral and private cremation was held in California. | |||||
