Man beaten and robbed in front of deli in Bay Shore

A 34-year-old male was beaten and robbed in front of The Daily Needs Deli located at 1389 Fifth Ave., Bay Shore. On Saturday , January 13, at about 9:25 p.m.,four males approached the victim as he was standing outside the deli and beat him to the ground several times before taking his wallet which contained $386. Three of the subjects are described as young black males in their late teens to early 20s. One of the subjects is described as a young Hispanic male. The victim recognized two of the men who committed the robbery as customers that had purchased items in the store earlier that day.

Anyone with information about this crime is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential and the caller will be eligible for a cash reward of up to $2000 for information that leads to an arrest.
