Supervisor Steven Bellone announces annual Spring Eggstravaganza to be held Saturday, April 7

Supervisor Steven Bellone and Councilwoman Carol Quirk, chairwoman, Parks Committee invite all Town of Babylon residents, age 10 and under, to participate in the ninth annual Spring Eggstravaganza, Saturday, April 7, noon to 2 p.m. at Babylon Town Hall.

Attractions at this year's Spring Eggstravaganza include an egg find, pony rides, clowns, petting zoo and more. The North Lindenhurst Fire Department will have a fire truck on site for children to tour. Mr. Bunny will be available for pictures, so bring your camera. Applebee's of Lindenhurst will be on hand to provide burgers, hot dogs and chicken sandwiches at reasonable prices. "Join us for this free, fun-filled family event as we celebrate the arrival of spring," said Bellone.

This year's event will be held at Town Hall Park, Sunrise Highway, Lindenhurst. The event is free to all Town of Babylon residents. Parental supervision is required. For additional information, call the Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs at 631-893-2100.
