Young men who represent our finest
Dear Editor:

On Saturday morning, March 10, I was involved, as a member of the Ministry of Consolation, in a funeral at St. Joseph's Church.

Directly across the street, there was a group of young men, perhaps the Babylon tennis team, who were playing tennis.

When the pallbearers began to remove the casket from the hears, all the young men that were playing tennis stopped and lined up along the fence in a single file, facing the church and remained that way until the casket was inside the church.

I have to say that it was a very moving experience for those of us that witnessed it and for those in the family of the deceased that observed it.

I commend the coaches and thank them, and the young men for the respect they showed that morning.

So often we are quick to criticize our young people - I felt this deserved recognition.
